Light vertical file fold, otherwise Very Fine. Est. 2,000 - 3,000 CHF Due to the Franco-Prussian War, Swiss letters to the U.S. were routed through France for an additional 30c per 15 gram fee. The 80c rate, valid for only 19 days, is extremely rare, and examples of this rate were missing from even some of the most advanced collections of the past.
